Since the last post there has been a few more great awards for Jamón:

Best student film at Animation Block Party in Brooklyn, NY
In the last week of september jamón won in only one week three amazing awards, Best animated short in Anifest Canterbury, Best animated short in SESIFF in Seul Korea & Best animated short in Thurrock International film festival, essex. Followed a few days later of a new award Best Animated Short at New Orleans film festival. Amazing! and super congrats to everyone who made the film possible :)

More awards for jamón

This month has been an amazing month again for jamón.
This week, after the successful weekend at the London Independent Film Festival, jamón also won in SIAF (Savannah International Animation Festival) and in Flamingo Film Festival in South Florida, both for best animation. Congratulations team! and massive thank you to both festivals! I am very proud and happy about all this recognition. Thank you very much!

Yesterday was a great day for jamón. Thank you to everyone in the film for your amazing work, and also to all of you who could come to the screening.

JAMON WINS at Animated Exeter, Watersprite and WAMM Fest

The past month has been a big month for my film Jamón, winning the Graduate New Talent award for animation direction at Animated Exeter, Best Animation, Best Sound Design and Best Script at Watersprite in Cambridge, and Best Film at WAMM Fest in USA. Thank you to all the crew for their great work!

Page 47. Entry 01: Hidden + Feathers

I am very happy about starting a new blog with my friends Daniela Negrín and Marie- Margaux Tsakiri- Scanatovits. The blog is called Page 47, because it is about each of us choosing a word from the page 47 of any book around us, and sharing the words. This way i get the words from Dani and Margot and they get mine. For this entry the words i got are Hidden and Feathers, i chose the idea of costume as a way of hiding your appearance, and also the idea of the egg hiding the feathers inside.  See the photo references above.
